The confession of a demonic rocker, the story of a tomb robber and the biography of an eccentric surrealist... The Days of European Film published the complete program.

Films by famous directors Wim Wenders, Fernando Trueba or Alice Rohrwacher, and the revealing debuts of the upcoming generation of filmmakers. Novelties awarded with prizes from festivals in Cannes, Venice and Karlovy Vary. The colourful biography of the painter Salvador Dalí and the open confession of the rock'n'roll rioter Pete Doherty. The 31st edition of the Days of European Film festival promises all of this.

The program includes over three dozen current films of a broad genre spectrum, most of which will be presented in the Czech premiere. Also, this year, the audience will be able to meet star festival guests; for example, the Austrian director Jessica Hausner, whose retrospective and masterclass the festival will offer, will come to Prague.

The main part of the Days of European Film will take place from April 4 to 9 in Prague, Brno and Ostrava, after which the event will move to a dozen other cinemas in the Czech Republic. Advance ticket sales have already started; the program is available at www.eurofilmfest.cz.
