Even ordinary things, like singing in a band, can have tough consequences – at least if you live in Tunis just before the revolution.
Farah sings in a band. Music is her life and she plans to enroll at university where she wants to study musicology. Her first real concert approaches as the Tunisian Revolution is about to break. The secret police is highly active, people are closely monitored, there are interrogations and disappearances. But Farah does not want to compromise in her music just because the ruling party disapproves of some of her lyrics. This film is about music, defiance and the hope for change.
